Carla Requena has a degree in Psychology from the Arturo Michelena University in Venezuela, a specialization in psychoneurolinguistics from the Venezuelan Institute of Psychoneurolinguistics, and a Master’s degree in Organizational Development with a focus on organizational change from the Andrés Bello University in Caracas, Venezuela.

She is the Director of Human Resources at AES Chile since 2022. Before that, she had worked in other positions within the company, for two years as Human Resources Manager, for three years as Corporate HR Business Partner and two years as Talent Attraction Specialist for Andes SBU (division comprising Chile, Argentina and Colombia). Previously she worked since 2009 in different process and human resources consulting firms in Chile and Venezuela, as well as in Talent Acquisition in the retail sector in Venezuela.
