Ricardo is Chief Financial Officer at AES Gener, a role in which he has led the financial activities of the company to facilitate the strategic plans that have allowed the transition to renewable and environmentally sustainable energy sources. Among its key actions are the establishment of a risk management framework, investment in new technologies, communication with investors, as well as the leadership of the entire finance team in Argentina, Chile and Colombia.

With more than a decade at AES Gener, his experience and knowledge of the energy market has allowed him to contribute beyond his area, to also advise on the business planning of the transforming process that the company is promoting.

Ricardo is a Commercial Engineer with a major in Business Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. Later, he completed an MBA at the University of Chile and Tulane University. Roizen also completed the Finance Leadership Program at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business.
