Continuous improvement is part of the objectives of Neighborhood Council No. 45 of Santa Fe in Los Angeles. Therefore, they did not hesitate to present a project in the field of infrastructure with resources from the Trust Fund signed within the framework of the Collaboration and Mutual Benefit Agreement of the San Matías Wind Farm of AES Chile.
On this occasion, the neighbors decided to build a warehouse for their social headquarters, which considered 18 square meters of construction. This work allows them to better utilize the spaces and have a safe place to store their implements and equipment.
This work benefits approximately 300 members of the Neighborhood Council, as well as various organizations present in the sector, such as the Advancement Committees, senior citizen clubs, indigenous association, and sports clubs.
The president of Neighborhood Council No. 45 of Santa Fe, José Burgos, thanked the company for its support in executing the work. Burgos added that "the warehouse turned out perfect. We had nowhere to leave our things, and now we have 18 square meters of construction with a concrete floor, fiber cement, and exposed beams."
Meanwhile, the head of operation and maintenance of the San Matías wind farm, Cristián Olivares, indicated that "it is gratifying to see how people get happy with our contribution, and that means we are doing things right. We do not want to miss any opportunity to get closer to our community and contribute as much as possible. That speaks very well of us as a company."
