IST awards distinction in Prevention Management 2024 to SISO leader of AES Chile's Southern Complex
December 4, 2024
In an emotional ceremony, the leader of Industrial Safety and Occupational Health (SISO) of the Southern Complex (Los Ángeles and Mulchén wind farms) of AES Chile, Blanca Bossa, was recognized with the "Prevention Management 2024" distinction by the Institute of Occupational Safety (IST).
Annually, IST recognizes its various collaborators in the field of prevention management.
The Prevention Management Distinction is awarded to companies, individuals, and joint committees that excel in preventive management. This award seeks to recognize the commitment to life care, accident and occupational disease prevention, and the development of safe and healthy workspaces.
IST awarded Blanca Bossa this distinction in recognition of her commitment to prevention, significantly collaborating in the organization and execution of preventive activities, which have significantly impacted AES Chile's achievements in the preventive field.
The SISO leader of AES Chile's Southern Complex stated, "I felt immense joy when I received the call informing me of the recognition, which is at the regional level, because it not only reflects my commitment to preventive management but also that of the AES work team, which supports me in all activities."
Bossa added that the company's first value is safety, and for this reason, the distinction is very important as it "recognizes the work we do in the safety area both in the Southern Complex and throughout AES."
Preventive management in a company is a basic area that includes all the safety and health measures adopted by the organization to reduce or avoid work-related risks.
