About 20 residents of Los Angeles were trained with management tools for entrepreneurship

In order to promote entrepreneurship and the local economy, nearly 20 residents of Los Angeles were trained in various management skills, thanks to the support of the Mesamávida Wind Farm of AES Chile.

The course was held in person between December 12 and 16, benefiting 19 people belonging to the communities in the park's area of ​​influence, mostly women heads of household and independent workers, to whom the workshop provided legal formalization tools. business, accounting principles, administration and marketing.

During the development of the classes, the participants were able to use expository and practical techniques that allowed them to land their acquired knowledge in their respective endeavors.

These are various areas identified with the local reality, such as poultry, pastries and jam production, in line with one of the pillars of the company's social investment strategy, such as local development and entrepreneurship.

The initiative benefited residents of the Mesamávida, Paso de Arena, San Francisco and San Manuel neighborhood associations. The program concluded with the certification of each of the participants in the community headquarters of the latter community.

“The course gave us many tools to undertake and understand the steps we must take to be able to formalize ourselves, in addition to personal development. I want to thank all the people and teachers who gave us the opportunity to learn,” said Flavia Torres, who participated in the workshop after having started her venture thanks to a program also carried out with the support of the Mesamávida Wind Farm.
