He is an industrial engineer from the University of Buenos Aires and has a master's degree in business administration from the IAE Business School. He has more than 15 years of experience in the electric power generation business.

He has held different positions since joining AES in 2015. His career in the company began at AES Argentina, as Business Development Manager, where he carried out projects using different technologies, some of which are currently in commercial operation. He launched and led the area of ​​Innovation and New Solutions for the region of Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean.

Ignacio arrived at AES Chile at the beginning of 2020 as Director of Origination and Marketing. He currently works as Commercial Director and under his responsibility he covers the generation of new business, the administration of the contract and client portfolio, together with market operations, portfolio strategy and the development of models and analytics for decision making.

Prior to AES, Ignacio held different positions at Siemens Argentina and the United States, always related to the electric power generation sector.
